a time a ago the 'volkspark am weinbergsweg' in the north of berlin's
central district mitte used to be called 'heinrich heine park.' so in
the times of the GDR it was named after a sculpture, showing a rather
playful, ironically smiling heinrich heine, put in the north western
part of this small park.
