i took this picture at an extremely dimmed down daylight.

i mounted the camera, checked for the composition, shut the windows almost entirely and then took an exposure of at least an hour, while leaving the room.

the cup belongs to the heritage of my friend rosalba gianino, catania. it derives from the first part of the 20.th century, from a café called 'Caprice' in augusta, sicily.

i am still impressed, to what extent it is a painting.
